Faces and Figures is organized by Oivind Storm Bjerke, director of the Norsk Museum for Fotografi-Preus Fotomuseum, at the invitation of The American-Scandinavian Foundation. The exhibition of some 50 photographs in black-and-white and color, representing work by photographers from each of the five Nordic countries, will grapple with contemporary themes such as identity and disguise, the human in interiors versus man in nature, and the layerings of history in the modern world. A 50-page catalogue will be available.
