Löysin uutisartikkelin, joka väittää, että US says foreigners with work visas must reapply overseas (http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2004-06/24/content_1544398.htm). Näyttää oikealta uutiselta, mutta en vielä löytänyt asiasta vahvistusta muualta.

It was announced at the AILA Annual Conference that applications for visa revalidations for classifications C, E, H, I, L, O and P will no longer be accepted by the Department of State after July 6, 2004. AILA is now reporting that the cut-off date is actually July 16, 2004. An exception will be made for applications pending at that point for which additional information has been requested under INA Section 221(g).
