If you read some books in English, it may be easier to discuss them in English.

Hyvin kirjoitettu, Ville.

Kun lapsemme (aikuiset) lukivat kirjan.. mutta tosiaan saattaa sekoittaa uskontoihin vähemmän perehtyneen lukijan uskomaan kirjan perustuvan tosiasioihin.

I would not read fiction that speculates about those things, the DaVinci Code that several have read. Even the historical data from those times is pretty few notes here and there. But I did read a Mika Waltari book about events around Biblical events, described by a Roman tourist in the book. It was quite interesting, and Waltari writes pretty well. It was called Valtakunnan salaisuus.

It was not a big hit, so not likely translated.

I did read Sinuhe both in English and Finnish. Works both ways.

This (http://www.spaghettieveryfriday.com/) is by far the best book I've ever read, infact so good that that I'm trying to find it in my two boxes, that is boxes that my wife has allowed me to move with us when we have changed locale, in town, in state, or in continent, , boxes that are just mine, my stuff, my things, my junk, they've gotten smaller too every decade...I wonder if they shrinkage occurs for the same reason on my belts???...my boxes....well, sentimental or not, they are mine!!
...for my sons to read, and to learn from, daughter too is welcome to this "man's world" of trials and hardships...what the hell I am babling....just made pizza for kids, its not delivered....it's DIGIORNO , bella bella!!

Pasta vegetarian, or meat sauce?

Both, and lately I've noticed that less meat.
Old age has hit the kids, now much more selective re. service, food service ...
All like big steaks, but not very often, pizzas with spinach/olives/tomato or white pizzas, pasta with just sauce, pasta salads with herbs/carlic etc etc...where are the hot dogs, hamburgers, ----helpers, spam and Chef Boyardee?????

Most kids from 5-15 prefer plain cheese pizza. Mine allow sausage now.

.... which reminds me guys that London Marathon is on this Sunday. Any of you watching? I don't have a choice, hubby watches it every year. Saying that, I don't mind really, but prefer to watch the fun-runners to the serious professionals...

I have bought the Sue Townsend..of Adrian Mole fame...book "10". It describes the life of an odd prime minister.
