Hi everybody!

Hola Ville!!!
(I remember reading an article that said... "If a Finn offers you a friendship... You can be sure it will last forever..." Thanks for writing me back... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif
I just loved your gallery...
'Oceania' was one of my favorites... ;-)
(It took me into a long journey far, far away from here....)

Hey ! I got a question here...

A friend of mine (in Finland) sent me a song called... "Tunnen taman ikavan" (Sorry about the 'ruotsalainen a' ... but My Character map doesn't work properly... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/frown.gif

Anyways... I'd like to know where or how could I get this Cd. The singer's name is "Kuustonen".

Here's a warm hug from a Latin-American that truly loves the Finnish culture...

God bless you all...

Fher.

Hasta la vista guys!!!... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

Try the links:

Hei Tuomo !

Minä olen Meksicolainen... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/wink.gif
(I'm getting better and better with my Finnish... Actually it's kind of easy for me to learn Finnish 'cause our languages are spoken in the same way... our vowels doesn't change and "almost" all the consonants keep the same sound. Same happens with Vietnamese, did you know?...
One of my best friends here in Irving is from Vietnam. Asian people are cool... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

Are you interested in Latin-American Cultures...?

'cause if you are or just need some translation from Spanish or anything... just let me know http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/wink.gif

Maybe I could help you... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

By the way... I've been living here in Irving, TX. USA for almost 5 years.

What about you? Are you living in Finland?
If you are... Let me just tell you, You are very lucky! I guess there's no better place in this world than Finland to spend the last X-mas of the Millenium !!!! http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

Be safe...

Until we meet again.

Fher.

Good going Fher! http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

What got your originally interested in Finland/Finnish? In my 7½ years in the U.S. I've met a handful of people - Americans and other nationalities - who have been really into learning Finnish and visiting/living in Finland without any particular reason.. other than maybe having initially got to know Finnish people on the net.

Wow!!! What a good question... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

Nowadays there are a lot of reasons...
"The more you learn, the more you love."

But "originally"... I recall it was back in High School; I had to make an essay about European Cultures... and I chose Finland.
The reason was kind of silly... I guess.
"Finlandia" is Spanish for Finland... but "Fin" in Spanish means "The end"... so literally it kind of means "The land of the end" and I was like... -Is there were the world finish??? http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/wink.gif Silly isn't?
By the way... My essay was one of the best... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/wink.gif

That was like 12 years ago... Now I'm 26.
And guess what!... Finland is not were the world finish... http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

By the way... How was your Editing lecture?
Did you have fun?

Sinikka,

You know what?! You are right!!!
There are so many reasons to be thankful...

I guess I'm just not afraid to show my feelings... That's all. ;-)

So, if you need a friend... or just someone to bother... just let me know. ;-)

Be cool, and try to smile more often; guess what... It's inexpensive!!! :-)
