Hi everyone!

I've been trying to find more info about Finnish Film... but to be true, I failed.

Directors like: Jörn Donner, Edvin Laine, and specially... Ere Kokkonen (Uuno Turhapuro).
(Of course, Contemporary and Experimental Films info is very welcome http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

It'll be so cool to find more about the job of these Directors and even more! To find some way to get the films... It would be a blast!!!

Of course al kind of comments are also very welcome http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/smile.gif

Thanks a million!
Carpe Diem!

Fher, check out http://www.filmania.net and http://www.freax.com -- they are Finnish Zines about movies - Finnish and foreign.

Also take a look at Finnish Film Foundation's web site (http://www.ses.fi/frontp01.htm).

Fher: If your looking for some Finnish stuff I absolutely recommend Pekka Parikka's Talvisota. To understand Finnish culture better, you actually HAVE TO watch at least one war movie. I think Talvisota is the best I've ever seen. There's a lot of emotion. "Rukajärven tie" (released earlier this year) was actually a lot worse (even though it wasn't very bad either).
