LA: Bileita?Toita?Network?

Well, when could we have great Scandinavian party going on? I'm on spring break and studying here and noticed the same thing one PHd ssaid earlier this board. Swedish dudes have great network going on but not Finnish or others. We should start to collect names etc. do something about it. Me as an business major wanted to build some network of my own and get to know some people from here, why not Finnish too? I would be interested of doing business Finland/California and why not working here later on, but there is no place where I would've find collected information about job opportunities for Finnish. I'd rather work for a company which has active things going on in Finland and California so that later on I could sneak back home... sweet Finland http://viestit.etusivu.net/old/wink.gif

Hi Anssi,

As ex-FUN (Finnish Urban Network) I can offer couple words of advice. First, if you want it done, you have to do it yourself, and second, it is a heck-of-a-lot of work.

I am very glad that in the past couple of years there has been this interest in Finns hanging out together. Makes our "exile" in USA so much easier.

Finnish Expatriate Parliament’s Speakers Council on YLE’s Radio Finland

The Finnish Expatriate Parliament’s Speaker Pertti Paasio and Vice Speakers representing different parts of the world take in your questions in a live radio interview. The interview will take place on Sunday, April 22. It is conducted in Finnish and Swedish only. The Finnish part will air 7.30
